Empowering Local Businesses Together

Join us in supporting small, local businesses and making mindful choices that reduce consumerism and promote community growth.

Not all major corporations are part of the problem, but there are certainly more that harm society than help it. If you must shop with big businesses, take the time to research those that don't support harmful political campaigns or conform to damaging policies, such as banning Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (D.E.I.) initiatives. The goal is to shift away from corporate profits and support local businesses instead. While prices may be higher, the long-term socioeconomic benefits will outweigh the cost.

You'll also be surprised by how much you can save by cutting out unnecessary spending and focusing only on what you truly need. While this isn't always feasible for everyone, making an effort to impact change can send a message to corporations. Support your neighbors, shop at small thrift stores, or even try making things yourself. Learning new skills, like sewing, is always valuable, especially during times of economic uncertainty.
