Letter to Congress

This fascist assault on our government is counting on one thing to succeed: the continued ARTIFICIAL division between the political left and right. We the People are here today to tell you—the Congress, Elon Musk, JD Vance and Donald Trump—that you will not succeed in your brazen attempt to coopt our government to serve YOUR interests. We will no longer fall victim to your manufactured Culture Wars when we know that 83% of Republicans and 80% of Democrats understand that you no longer work for us but for the corporate parasites that have consolidated our industries and stifled our economic freedom and prosperity.

We are now at a crossroads. Do We the People allow Democrats to play victim with their hand-wringing and pearl-clutching at those who brazenly break our laws and unapologetically run roughshod over our coequal Branches of Government and our Sacred Constitution? Do We the People allow the doublespeak of Republican lawmakers, hell-bent on disenfranchising anyone who isn’t a certain breed of White Christian man?

The SAVE Act is a direct assault on women’s suffrage. HR26 is a direct assault on our First Amendment Rights to Free Speech and Assembly. Our Public Schools are under attack with voucher programs veiled as “School Choice” when they are nothing more than private school discounts for the wealthiest of Americans PAID FOR BY US. Inflation is back with a vengeance due to the PURPOSEFUL policies set forth by Trump’s regime. Musk’s efforts to purge our government of Constitutionally protected dissent while simultaneously stealing all of our protected data from government databases encapsulates perfectly the truth that in our present moment, WEALTH SUPERCEDES LAW.

The Trump regime wants chaos to disguise this fact, as it aggressively removes roadblocks that protect We the People to push its Christian nationalist agenda with Musk as its spearhead.

To MAGA: is this what you voted for? Did you vote to increase your tax burden so parasites like Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerburg can avoid theirs? Did you vote to defund public schools and their teachers? Did you vote to have the rights of women and minorities stripped away? Did you vote for farmers to lose their farms when they froze subsidies to that industry? Did you vote for labeling hard-working, tax-paying migrant families as criminal, rounding them up and sending them to Guantanamo? Did you vote for an assault on the disabled and the most vulnerable of us? Did you vote to strip our ability to keep us healthy and respond to disease? Did you vote to defund FEMA while the planet furiously batters our coasts and burns our cities? You are not different from us; you have felt the government hasn’t worked for you in a very long time. And that’s because it hasn’t. What it has done is disguised a class war as a partisan one, pitting us against each other while CEOs get richer and the wealth gap widens exponentially. It is time for us to rise up and force our government to stop ignoring us. The Trump regime will continue to break its promises to you because the goal is control.

To the Tech Oligarchy: do you really think we’re so dependent on you that we can go without? Your Social Media, your AI, your productivity tools, they are designed to serve you. We will serve you no longer. Starting today, We the People will boycott all platforms associated with those individuals seen standing behind the President on Inauguration Day and all those who associate with them. What you fail to realize is all the services you offer come at a cost and are ultimately nothing more than a luxury. We can and will unplug. We will find ethical alternatives. Instead of Facebook, we will choose BlueSky. Instead of Amazon, we will shop locally. Instead of Google, we will use DuckDuckGo. We will forego sporting events and betting. The devices you sell us are OURS. The data you mine is OURS and the cost of these conveniences is too steep. We banish you from our economy until you respect our privacy, stop mining and selling our data and stop undermining our interests with your army of lobbyists and lawyers.

To Congress: Our demands are as follows:

• We demand economic justice for all

• We demand access to adequate healthcare and mental health

• We demand education reform

• We demand justice system reform

• We demand guaranteed and irrevocable civil rights and equality for all

• We demand environmental action

• We demand safe, stable, and accessible housing and a permanent and proactive solution to homelessness

• We demand immigration reform

• We demand government accountability

• We demand reproductive rights and electoral reform

• We demand digital privacy and “news media” regulations

• We demand protection and guarantee of freedom of speech and protest

• We demand protection and guarantee of Indigenous sovereignty

• We demand corporate and industrial accountability

• We demand complete government reform

We the People will not stand by while our republic is dismantled and destroyed.

We the People will not capitulate to the desires of a billionaire class that seeks to undermine our sacred rights as Americans and funnel the entirety of our wealth into their coffers.

We the People will not stand for the blatant and unapologetic attempt to reshape our Republic into a White Christian Nationalist Oligarchy.

WE THE PEOPLE WILL NOT BE DENIED.
